The ‘church’ is not bricks and mortar.   The ‘Church’ is made up of people; people like you and me.

The Greek for church is ‘ekklesia’ which means ‘an assembly’ or ‘gathering of people’. As Christians we become ‘Children of God’ and are called to ‘love one another’ as members of one family. We need to seek all that unites us within that family so that we ‘belong’ and can worship and work together. Our Christian fellowship (living in community) takes no account of race, colour, culture or education. By belonging we can find our place and meaning in a world that can often seem alienating and confusing.

This section explains the many ways in which you can be part of that shared sense of community and play a meaningful role within our church ‘family’.
