Although the PCC has ultimate responsibility, it clearly cannot do everything that is needed in the parish on a day-to-day basis. It therefore delegates some of this work to the Leadership Team and a number of action groups each dealing with a particular aspect of parish life.

In the periods between PCC meetings, the Council delegates day to day business to the Leadership Team. At present this consists of the Priest-in-Charge, Church Wardens, Lay Minister, Treasurer, Secretary and members of the PCC co-opted onto the Team. Co-option is permitted either for individual development purposes, valued skills or position on other church bodies.

The Leadership Team must report back to the PCC on any issues involving significant expenditure or changes in policy prior to commitment.
