A few words from the Vicar…

“Find your place, take your place, and play your part”. Together is always better.

We have our annual church meetings coming up on 12th May for St Peters’ Chippenham and 19th May for St Cyriac’s and St Anne’s Lacock and Bowden Hill, immediately after the morning service in church. These are important meetings to celebrate a year gone by as well as to encourage each other to continue, or step into, activities and involvement that enable us to function well, and to love and serve our communities. Do take the opportunity to join in. Church is fun, should be fun, can be fun and is fun! Am sure if the human Jesus was here today, he would be involving himself 😊

   Shalom, Si

In this new and exciting season for St Peter’s Church and the wider Church in Chippenham, if you have a desire to see God’s Kingdom grow and in seeking a shared vision going forward you’re invited to join Si and Lynne between 9 and 9.30am, on Sunday mornings in the Lady Chapel, to pray for God’s wisdom and guidance for his Church in Chippenham.  Lynne

In our prayers we pray for those who are ill: Jean Jeffries, Bev Webb, Evie and Sarah Forward.  We pray for all who care for the sick and housebound, in hospital and at home, not forgetting those who are being looked after in nursing homes and residential care. We pray for those unknown to us who have no one else to pray for them: we do not know their names, but they are known and precious to God. We pray for those anxiously awaiting the results of hospital tests.
